AutoHTN Security motions sensors AutoHTN security configuration

The security screen is similar to the Lights screen since they both show nine "buttons". Configuration of the nine motion sensors is done by going to the menu\Configure\Security configuration screen. Each motion sensor will display one of four states: inactive, off, on, or alert. AutoHTN won't check the security status of sensors in inactive or off states. Motion sensors in an “on” state will be checked for an alert status by pressing the "check security status" button, or when the user opens up the screen. The motion sensors button will show an alert image when motion was detected.

Testing was done using Intermatic’s Z-wave USB stick (model #HA22), HomePro ZIR000 motion sensor and Intermatic’s CA9000 motion sensor. The ZIR000 functioned well once it was setup properly. However, the CA9000 is not recommended as its battery life was only approximately two days.
